You agree to the privacy policy below, and the Privacy Policy for Substack, the technology provider.
Welcome! This is the privacy policy for The Content Collateral, a Substack newsletter and creative platform written and managed by Imelda Wistey.
I believe your voice deserves safety. So does your inbox.
Here’s how I protect your data, and how we’ll move with integrity.
1. What I Collect
When you subscribe (free or paid), Substack collects:
Your name (if provided)
Your email address
Payment info (processed securely via Stripe or other third-party providers for paid subscriptions)
Open rates and click-through data (to help me understand what resonates)
I may collect optional info via surveys, comment threads, or email replies, but only what you choose to share.
2. How Your Data Is Used
I use your data to:
Send you the newsletter you signed up for
Share occasional updates, creative invitations, or offers
Understand what’s working (so I can write better for you)
Connect with you if you reach out directly
Your data is never sold, rented, or shared with third parties outside of Substack’s platform and trusted processors (like Stripe) unless legally required.
3. Substack + Third-Party Services
This newsletter is hosted on Substack, which provides the platform and technical infrastructure. Your subscription data is stored securely by Substack and governed by Substack’s Privacy Policy.
If you become a paid subscriber, payment is securely processed through Stripe. I do not have access to your full payment details, only confirmation of payment status.
4. Your Rights
You can:
Unsubscribe at any time using the link at the bottom of any email
Update your email address through your Substack account
Request deletion of any personal info you’ve shared with me directly
Reach out if you have questions or want to opt out of anything non-essential
5. Cookies + Tracking
Substack may use cookies and similar technologies to analyze engagement. I do not use additional tracking tools outside of what Substack provides natively. I personally never access or use reader data in a way that violates trust.
6. Community Conduct
If/when community features (comments, live events, etc.) are enabled, you agree to engage respectfully and without harm. Any behavior that violates this space — through harassment, spam, or misuse — may result in comment moderation or removal from the platform.
7. Changes + Contact
This policy will evolve as The Content Collateral grows. If significant updates occur, I’ll let you know directly.
If you have questions, concerns, or need clarity, please email:

Thank you for being here, truly. Your voice, your presence, and your privacy matter.
